About This Landmark
Lake Busija near Glamoč
Lake Busija is one of the most peaceful and least visited lakes in Bosnia and Herzegovina, located in the heart of the vast Glamoč Field at an altitude of around 890 meters. Surrounded by green meadows and untouched nature, this lake attracts anglers, campers, and all those seeking rest far from the hustle and bustle of the city.
The clean waters are rich in fish, and the quiet atmosphere and night sky free of light pollution make it the perfect place to escape everyday life. The Glamoč Field, one of the largest karst depressions in Bosnia, offers an impressive landscape that changes with every season — from the greenery of spring to the winter silence blanketed in snow.
