Petro-Pavlov Monastery

The Monastery of the Holy Apostles Peter and Paul is located in Petrovo polje, about 7 km southeast of Trebinje, in an area of exceptional historical and archaeological value. Together with the surrounding stećak necropolis, it has been protected as a national monument of Bosnia and Herzegovina since 2003, and the complex bears witness to the continuity of Christian life in this area since the early centuries.
