Donjačka Mosque
Donjačka Mosque is located in Derventa, in Donjačka mahala, built between 1570 and 1600, and named after its founder Ibrahim-hodža, who endowed 1,300 akçe for its upkeep. It was built in the Bosnian style, measuring 14×11.50 m, with a capacity for 200 worshippers. The original wooden minaret was replaced in 1925 with a new one built of brick. Major repairs were carried out around 1970, including restoration of the roof, mahfil, and interior decorations. The enclosed courtyard contained around 60 nišans, where only members of Derventa's ulema — muderrises, imams, muallims, and hafizes — were buried.
Restoration began in 2012, funded by donations from the Rijaset of the Islamic Community, relevant ministries, and numerous benefactors, in the amount of 195,000 KM. It was ceremonially reopened on July 16, 2017, as one of the three city mosques in Derventa. It has been declared a National Monument of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
