About Prijedor

Prijedor

Prijedor is a city whose 46 km stretch from east to west connects gentle river valleys with hilly massifs. The city enjoys a diverse landscape that extends from the lowland area of Sana and Gomjenica, ideal for fishing and relaxation, to 30,000 hectares of hilly forests of Kozara and Ljubija. The proximity of Kozara mountain and its peak Lisina gives the city the character of an air spa, while the vast Saničani fishpond represents a unique hydrographic symbol of the region. Only 50 km from Banja Luka, Prijedor is the perfect starting point for exploring Potkozarje, offering visitors an authentic experience of nature at the meeting point of mountain freshness and the Pannonian plain.
