Located in the heart of coastal Herzegovina, Ljubuški is a town that enchants visitors with its blend of Mediterranean climate, crystal-clear rivers, and history stretching back deep into prehistory. With more than 2,300 hours of sunshine a year, this area is a true agricultural and tourist oasis watered by the three-named river Tihaljina–Mlade–Trebižat. Thanks to its position at the crossroads of important routes toward the Adriatic and the interior of Bosnia, Ljubuški has over the centuries been home to Illyrians, Roman legions, medieval nobles, and Ottoman captains, leaving behind a heritage rarely seen in such a small area.
