About This Landmark

Kod Muje

Since 1923, when the Đuzel family opened the first ćevabdžinica in the center of Banja Luka, Kod Muje has preserved the traditional recipe used to make ćevapi today. Few people have visited the city on the Vrbas without trying Muje’s ćevapi, and many return to them every time they come back.

Banja Luka ćevapi differ from the rest of Bosnia and Herzegovina: they are made in the form of “tiles” from minced beef, using fresh ingredients and spices, and served in a special lepinja. Today you can try them at three locations in the city:

- Braće Mažar i majke Marije 24
- Nikole Pašića 23
- Braće Potkonjaka bb (Kod Muje II)
