Mladen Stojanović Park
Mladen Stojanović Park is the largest city park in Banjaluka, in the Rosulje local community, covering 10 hectares of lush vegetation. It is named after the doctor and national hero from World War II, Mladen Stojanović, who, after studying in Vienna, treated the poor for free in Prijedor. The park dates back to the Austro-Hungarian period; between 1974 and 1986, 12 tennis courts were built.
The park features the TK Mladost courts, a tartan running track, a padel court, basketball and small football pitches, exercise equipment, children's playgrounds, and a replica of the famous fountain from Petar Kočić Park, built in 2021–2022. The most significant intervention came in 2023, when the promenade and courts were reconstructed, the largest children's playground in RS was built, and the RS National Tennis Center with a capacity of around 6,000 seats was constructed for the Srpska Open ATP tournament, at which Novak Đoković also played. The park is also the venue of the Fitnesom do zdravlja event.
