About Bijeljina

Bijeljina

Bijeljina is one of the fastest-growing cities in the region, located in the fertile plain between the Drina and Sava rivers at the foothills of Mount Majevica. As the administrative and economic center of the northeastern part of the country, it is often referred to as the "breadbasket of Bosnia and Herzegovina." The city's tourism identity is closely linked to Stanišići Ethno Village, whose authentic wooden houses and picturesque lakes attract visitors from around the world. Nearby, visitors can also find Dvorovi Spa, renowned for its healing thermo-mineral waters. The magnificent Tavna Monastery, a historical gem hidden in the hills of Majevica, further enriches the region's cultural heritage. With modern shopping centers, well-maintained parks, and a rich gastronomic scene based on traditional Semberija products, Bijeljina is an ideal destination for weekend getaways and business travel.
