The Hermitage Churches of the “Angels”

It is located on the shore of Lake Prespa, in its east, near the state border with Greece. The ascent to the multi-storey church is done by metal stairs. The first floor is the cell where the monks lived and its upper part is the paraclese where it is decorated with a frescoed iconostasis. This complex belongs to the 12th century and goes back to the end of the 14th century.
