Helvetic Tekke

The Helvetic Tekke in the Medieval Center of Berat is one of the most prominent monuments of Albanian cultural heritage. Originally built in the 15th century and rebuilt by Ahmet Kurt Pasha at the end of the 18th century, it is distinguished by its rich architecture, characteristic courtyard and artistic interior details, such as mural paintings and a carved wooden ceiling. Located next to the Mbret Mosque, the tekke remains an important attraction for local and foreign visitors.
